- Experience in database design, database architecture and PL/SQL development, including stored procedures, triggers, roles and permissions.
- Able to take general requirements from the customers/team lead/project manager, work with business analysts to clarify and expand the requirements, and creatively determine the user interface design and underlying business functionality to support the requirements.
- Experience performing system testing and work with the Database Administrator (DBA) to promote (migrate) the changes through multiple environments (development, test, production)
- Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle server software and related products
- Establish and maintain and/or evaluate backup and recovery policies and procedures
- Perform capacity planning plan growth and changes to the database both from a hardware and software perspective as application evolves
- Implement and maintain database objects (tables, indexes, triggers, etc.) to support overall design and development efforts
- Perform database tuning and performance monitoring Setup
- Experience maintaining documentation, standards and release procedures for database scripts * Experience with data modeling and data migration
- Experience designing and implementing mid to very large databases with respect to access methods, access time, batch processes, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods.
- Centralizing OEM for all database environments
- Perform new module implementations, upgrades, and application integrations
- Develop technical design documents for Conversions, extensions, interfaces, and reports
- Develop applications that use the Open Interfaces and APIs for Oracle E-Business Suite
- Database creation, clone, and backup, recovery.
- Design, develop, load and support data-marts and cubes for analytical reporting
- Experience working extensively in setting up Extraction, Transformation and Load (ETL) processes
- Design and development of relational database management objects (tables, schemas, indexes, materialized views, partitions, stored procedures, macros, etc.), database design principles, data administration standards, and information security terminology.
- Excellent knowledge of data warehouse concepts such as star schema, snowflakes, conformed dimensions, slowly changing dimensions
- Recommend techniques and strategies to design, develop and maintain data warehouse models
- Experience with OBIEE, Data administration and Security, Portal and Oracle Identity management
