- Facilitate JAD sessions / design and requirements gathering sessions, to define data requirements * Possess strong interviewing skills to talk with individuals and groups about their needs and ask the right questions to surface essential requirements information

- Participates and provides expertise in technical reviews and inspections to verify the implementation of 'intent of change' through the entire project
- Understands Data Warehouse concepts
- Proficient with RUP, Agile, SDLC methodologies
- Provide timely reporting on project activities
- Identify and qualify new business development opportunities
- Experience constructing highly complex conceptual data and process models, including data dictionaries and volume estimates to communicate requirements
- Work with the customer to examine existing business models and data flows, design an appropriate IT solution, and document the product/service requirements to ensure the client’s needs are met
- Work with programmers, engineers (systems and electrical), and database administrators to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
- Contribute to application design (UI), development, testing and installation, as required
- Remain flexible to work as part of structured team led by a Project Manager and/or Technical Lead, or independently on individual assignments with government stakeholders
Desired Skills – (More than 5 is a Plus)
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in computer science or information technology or equivalent work experience
- Experience working with federal government clients
- Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, Outlook)
- HTML, SQL, and database design
- Modeling, documentation & prototyping tools such as ERWIN, Requisite Pro
- ETL and data migration
- Experience with Business Intelligence application projects
- Working knowledge of Web Services based applications
- Experience in unified modeling language (UML)
